Road Accident: A horrific road accident took place in Isri Bazaar under Dumri police station area of ​​Giridih district of Jharkhand. The speeding and uncontrolled truck crushed many vehicles and pedestrians in the market area, in which so far 6 people have been confirmed dead, while more than 20 people are said to be injured.

The condition of many of the injured is said to be serious, due to which the death toll is expected to increase. According to eyewitnesses, Isri Bazaar was bustling with activity as usual, when suddenly the truck coming at high speed lost control and rammed vehicles parked on the roadside, people near shops and pedestrians.

The running truck crushed many people

After the accident, there was chaos and screaming at the spot. According to the information, the truck first hit a car hard. After this, anger spread among the local people and an uproar started. Meanwhile, the driver started running away with the truck and while escaping, he crushed many vehicles and people present on the road. Dozens of vehicles were damaged in this incident and people started running here and there to save their lives.

Police started relief work

As soon as information about the incident was received, Dumri police station reached the spot and relief and rescue operations were started. The injured were immediately admitted to nearby hospitals, while information is also coming to light that many seriously injured people have been referred for better treatment.

In this case, SDPO Sumit Kumar told that the truck had first hit a car, after which the driver started running away with the vehicle amidst the protest and uproar of the people and during this time a major accident took place, he said that the police has arrested the truck driver and the vehicle has been confiscated. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.

After the accident, there was an atmosphere of tension and panic in Isri Bazar area for a long time. On receiving the information, Giridih Deputy Commissioner Ramniwas Yadav and Superintendent of Police Dr. Vimal Kumar also reached the spot and took stock of the situation.
