Mushfiqur Rahim: Bangladesh cricket legend Mushfiqur Rahim has achieved a historic achievement with the first match of the ongoing Test series against Pakistan at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. Now Mushfiqur Rahim has become the owner of the second longest Test career among Asian players. Only the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of him. Mushfiqur Rahim has been playing test matches for this team for years, due to which a special achievement has been registered in his name.
Mushfiqur Rahim created history in test cricket
Mushfiqur Rahim is one of the most reliable and long-serving players of Bangladesh cricket. He not only showed his class in wicket-keeping but also played many memorable innings in batting. Even as captain, he handled the team on many occasions. This Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman made his Test debut in 2005 at the age of just 16 and since then has traveled a journey of more than 20 years while continuously serving the country. His Test career now spans 20 years and 348 days.
With this achievement, Mushfiqur Rahim has left behind Pakistani legend Imran Khan. Imran Khan's Test career was 20 years and 218 days long. At the same time, Sachin Tendulkar's Test career was 24 years and 1 day.
