Tamil Nadu’s government formation process witnessed fresh uncertainty late Friday evening, with sources indicating that the Governor is still not fully convinced over TVK’s claim to form the government. The development comes amid reports that Thalapathy Vijay currently has the support of only 116 MLAs, falling short of the majority mark. Sources also said discussions over the Deputy Chief Minister’s post have emerged as another major sticking point within the alliance camp, casting fresh doubt over Vijay’s proposed swearing-in ceremony.
