In Hamirpur district, Uttar Pradesh, the rescue operation following a tragic boat accident in the Yamuna River has concluded with the recovery of the sixth body. After several hours of intense efforts, teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) successfully located all missing individuals from the depths of the river.
Emotional Discovery of a Child's Body
The situation became even more heart-wrenching when rescuers found the body of a five-year-old child. Shortly thereafter, the last missing person's body was also retrieved from the river. All bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination via ambulance.
Chief Minister Expresses Condolences
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed profound sorrow over the incident. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased and instructed local authorities to spare no effort in relief operations. The Chief Minister emphasized that any negligence related to the accident would not be tolerated and ordered an investigation into the matter.
Local MLA Visits Affected Families
Following the news of the accident, local MLA Manoj Prajapati promptly arrived at the scene. He met with the grieving families by the riverbank and assured them of all possible assistance from the government.

The accident occurred when individuals were on their way to collect cucumbers, watermelons, and vegetables, and the boat capsized in the middle of the river. This incident has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire Hamirpur district.
