Shamli Fire Case: Such a painful incident has come to light from Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked the entire area. A woman allegedly tried to set herself on fire in Kairana town on Thursday, but in this horrific incident, her two innocent daughters died of suffocation. After the incident, there is mourning in the entire neighborhood and everyone is asking the same question – what happened in that closed room? According to the police, 30-year-old Anita set fire to the bed in a room of her house. In the initial investigation, family dispute is being considered as the reason for this step. However, the police is still investigating the case from every angle.
Smoke filled the closed room, innocent daughters could not escape.
It is being told that at the time of the incident, Anita's two daughters - 10 year old Vandana and one and a half year old Jaspreet - were also present in the same room. As the fire increased, smoke started filling the room rapidly. The girls trapped in the closed room became unconscious due to suffocation. When the local people saw smoke coming out of the house, there was panic. Neighbors ran to the spot, but by then it was too late. As soon as the information was received, the police and ambulance team reached the spot and all three were taken to the hospital. Circle Officer Hemant Kumar said that on reaching the hospital, doctors declared Vandana and Jaspreet dead. Anita is admitted to the hospital in a critical condition, where her treatment is going on.
Husband was not at home, neighbors told the inside story
According to local people, Anita's husband Jassi was not present at home at the time of the incident. Neighbors say that there was tension in the family for the last few days. However, no one thought that the matter would turn into such a big tragedy. Police are now trying to find out whether the fire was set intentionally or there was some other reason behind the incident. The forensic team has collected evidence from the spot and people living near the house are being interrogated.
Weeds in the entire area, many questions still remain
The death of two innocent girls has left the entire area inconsolable. The people of the locality are shocked by this incident. On one side, there is a mother struggling between life and death in the hospital, while on the other side, there is silence in the house over the death of two daughters. At present, the police have sent the bodies for postmortem and the investigation of the case is going on.
