The Fortnite servers appear to have gone down, leaving thousands of fans unable to play Battle Royale online. The Fortnite server status makes grim reading for fans, who have complained about not being able to access Battle Royale. Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that Fortnite isn't working.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
The Down Detector outage map shows that the Fortnite issues are affecting users in the UK and Europe, although the vast majority of reports are coming from the US.
Fortnite developer Epic Games has acknowledged the issue, explaining that it is working on a fix.
"We're aware that players may not be able to log into or matchmake in Fortnite," reads an Epic Games tweet.
"We'll provide an update when we have one."
Daily Express will update this story with any new information, so keep checking back for the latest from Epic Games.
The server issues kicked off just moments after the latest Item Shop update, which saw Mortal Kombat skins go back on sale.
Speaking of which, Fortnite fans are counting down to the release of the big Mother's Day bundle, which adds new crossover skins.
Lois Griffin, Peggy Hill and Linda Belcher have been given a May 8 release date in Fortnite.
Available individually or as part of a bundle, the new skins can be purchased when the Item Shop updates at 5pm PT / 8pm ET on May 8.
Because of the time difference, UK fans will be able to purchase the bundle at 1am BST on May 9. That's 2am CET if you live in Europe.
