He said that this should not be limited to only police investigation, but should go to its root and find out which forces are behind it.

At the end of the press conference, Sanjay Singh once again reiterated that national security is a topic on which the party and the opposition should talk in one voice. He said that whenever there is a blast or terrorist incident, the loss is not to any one party but to the entire society and common citizens. It is the responsibility of the government to provide a safe environment to the people. He demanded that the culprits should be caught as soon as possible and given the harshest punishment under the law so that public confidence in the security system remains intact. He urged the administration to work with transparency and give correct information to the public from time to time so that confusion does not arise.
