Earthquake Strikes Central Nepal
Kathmandu: On Thursday morning, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Dhading district in central Nepal, as reported by a government agency.
Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of damage resulting from the quake, although tremors were felt in the capital city, Kathmandu.
The earthquake's epicenter was located 90 kilometers west of Kathmandu.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, the quake was recorded at 11:14 AM, with its epicenter at Charange Phedi in Dhading.
Nepal is situated in a highly active seismic region, classified as Seismic zones IV and V, making it particularly susceptible to earthquakes throughout the year.
