Atul Wassan On Gautam Gambhir: Gautam Gambhir took over the post of head coach of the Indian team in the year 2024. Under his coaching, Team India has so far won 2 ICC trophies. Amidst all this, former Indian cricketer Atul Wasan has made shocking allegations against Gautam Gambhir's aggressive nature and management style. Wasan says that because of Gambhir, the atmosphere in Team India's dressing room is bad and some players are not happy. However, he has not disclosed the names of the players.

Vasan has been associated with Delhi cricket, he claimed that he has known Gambhir since childhood. According to him, Gambhir's attitude has always been 'like me or leave the path'. He alleged that Gambhir had a habit of bullying since his youth, even in Delhi cricket. If someone refuses to obey him, he puts him on his 'hit list' and tries to cause harm.
What did Atul Wasan say?
Atul Wasan said in an interview to Vicky Lalwani, '"I have known him since childhood. I have had some differences with him. My case with him is, either listen to me or leave the way. He is like that, and he used to be very bullying in Delhi cricket too. His nature is like this from the beginning. He comes from a rich family, is an excellent player and is also intelligent. His ego is at its peak. He thinks that if he calls it night in the morning, people will call him night." Will obey him. If you don't obey him, he will try to harm you, but his nature has helped him in cricket.
He further said, 'I am sure not all the players will be happy. Someone must be sleeping under tension. It happens, there are personal likes and dislikes, and that too with such a strong personality. With personal likes and dislikes, it's okay if you keep winning. But if you lose, you will have to listen to criticism. I know one or two of those players, they will not speak openly. I can't take their names in this show. Everyone knows what is happening. But after eliminating those players, if you win, everything becomes yours. This is a team sport, no one will listen to the players. If even after all this the coach wins, then the coach is right and the player is wrong.
