He will be the first fast bowler to achieve this feat. No fast bowler has played 200 matches in IPL till now and now Bhuvneshwar Kumar is going to do this feat.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was sold for the first time in the IPL auction in 2010. Bhuvi was bought for Rs 6 lakh but he did not get a chance to play even a single match. Bhuvi was released by RCB without playing a match and after this he was bought by Pune Warriors India for Rs 20 lakh. This player remained in Pune team from 2011 to 2013. Bhuvi took 3 wickets in his debut season.

In the next season he managed to take 8 wickets and in 2013 he took 13 wickets. However, he proved to be a very economical bowler in every season. Bhuvi’s fortunes changed in 2014 when Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him for Rs 4.25 crore. In 2018, his salary increased to Rs 8.50 crore. In 2025, Bhuvi re-entered RCB and now this player is earning Rs 10.75 crore.
