As per a report by Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar underwent a minor surgery on May 6 in Mumbai. Sources quoted in the report stated that the procedure was related to vision correction and was completed in the morning. Following the surgery, the actor is expected to take some time off to recuperate before returning to work.

Recently, Akshay shared a cheerful behind-the-scenes picture with Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna from the sets, confirming the completion of the Keralam schedule. In his caption, he thanked director Anees Bazmee and the entire team, describing the experience as a special one.

Meanwhile, Vidya Balan is currently receiving appreciation for Raja Shivaji, which was released in theatres on May 1. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Bhagyashree, and Genelia Deshmukh, with Salman Khan appearing in a special role.
