According to the latest update, the actor recently underwent a minor vision correction procedure in Mumbai. With multiple projects lined up and an especially packed shooting schedule behind him, the break appears to come at a much-needed time. Sources quoted in the report stated that the procedure was related to vision correction and was completed in the morning. Following the surgery, the actor is expected to take some time off to recuperate before returning to work.
Recently, Akshay shared a cheerful behind-the-scenes picture with Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna from the sets, confirming the completion of the Keralam schedule. In his caption, he thanked director Anees Bazmee and the entire team, describing the experience as a special one.
The film is particularly interesting because it reunites Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan after several successful collaborations over the years. It also marks Akshay Kumar’s reunion with Anees Bazmee after nearly 15 years, adding another layer of nostalgia and curiosity around the project.

Meanwhile, Vidya Balan is currently receiving appreciation for Raja Shivaji, which was released in theatres on May 1. Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Bhagyashree, and Genelia Deshmukh, with Salman Khan appearing in a special role.
