'Lenin': Bhagyashri Borse sports a royal warrior outfit and moustache in striking new poster of the Akhil Akkineni starrer

Actress Bhagyashri Borse will be playing the female lead in Akhil Akkineni 's comeback movie ‘Lenin’. As she celebrated her birthday recently, the team shared a unique poster of her character from the film on her special day. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu is set to be a romantic action entertainer set in a village.

Bhagyashri Borse’s new posterIn the poster, Bhagyashri appears in a grand royal-warrior outfit inspired by Indian mythology and folklore. She is seen wearing a huge golden crown with beautiful carvings and red stones. The poster has rich gold, amber, and deep red shades that give it a powerful and dramatic feel. Her appearance looks both magical and mysterious. Interestingly, her look also has a moustache. The makers have not revealed why she appears in this look, keeping the surprise hidden for the film.

Bhagyashri Borse plays the role of Bharathi in the film.Sharing the poster they wrote, “Team #LENIN wishes the radiant and supremely talented #BhagyashriBorse a very Happy Birthday. Just like she always does, Bharathi too is coming to mesmerize and conquer everyone with her magic.”

Speaking about the movie, it has made its fair share of delays. They had also gone through a change of cast members, as earlier Sreeleela was set to be the female lead, with sequences shot with her. However, she took an exit from the project and ‘Kaantha’ star Bhagyashri Borse was roped in her place.


Nagarjuna ’s work frontA few days ago, Nagarjuna shared about watching the first cut of the film and praised his son’s performance. “watched the first cut of our film LENIN last night. I say this with confidence and pride… you are about to witness a new AKHIL on June 26 2026. mark the date!!! see you in the theatres,” he wrote.

Renowned musician Thaman is composing the tunes for the film. Leon Britto is handling cinematography, while Naveen Nooli is working as editor.

‘Lenin’ is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 26.
