After The Bluff, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set for her next opposite Orlando Bloom. Directed by the Emmy-nominated filmmaker Matt Smukler, the upcoming movie is a survival thriller titled Reset. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Orlando Bloom set to headline survival thriller ‘Reset’According to recent reports, Priyanka Chopra is not quite done with adventure thrillers. The actor is currently gearing up for a survival thriller titled Reset, in which she will star opposite The Cut star Orlando Bloom. Both Priyanka and Orlando took to Instagram to confirm the news. Bloom wrote, “Can’t wait.”
Written by Jordan Rawlins and directed by Matt Smukler, according to the movie’s logline, Reset follows a woman, played by Chopra Jonas, who wakes up in the wilderness and has no recollection of how she reached there. Turns out, the only way to make it out of the woods alive, she must trust a charming stranger, played by Bloom, who may not be who he claims he is.

Matt opened up about the decision to cast Priyanka and Orlando in Reset. He said that the wanted the lead pair to have palpable attraction as well as mistrust which the two actors are easily able to channel on screen. He also said that they have undeniable chemistry.
The upcoming film’s international sales will be launched at the Marché du Film in Cannes this year. Reset is backed by Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures and Orlando’s Amazing Owl along with Fratricidal Films, Chemically Altered, and Rhodes Entertainment.
Priyanka Chopra is also working with RRR director SS Rajamouli for her upcoming film Varanasi. It follows Rudhra as the city of Varanasi faces the impending arrival of an asteroid; The film takes place across several timelines. It stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra. It is slated for release on April 7, 2027.
She was last seen in the adventure-action flick The Bluff, which had a direct OTT release on Prime Video. The Bluff debuted at #1 on Prime Video worldwide. Before that, she starred alongside Idris Elba and John Cena in Prime’s fourth most-watched film, Heads of State. It racked up over 75 million views.
Priyanka’s Oscar-nominated The White Tiger received positive reviews from audience and critics. The short film Anuja and feature documentary To Kill a Tiger were also nominated for Oscars.
