Actor Ishaan Khatter is set to lead the comic film ‘Jugaadu’. On Instagram, he posted his first look from the film, writing, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for #JUGAADU – My first in and as! Cooking with an incredible and passionate team to bring you this riot of an entertainer in cinemas soon.”
‘Jugaadu’ also marks the Hindi film debut of Punjabi actress Tania. The mahurat ceremony took place on April 30, 2026, in Mumbai, heralding the start of production. The first filming schedule is planned for later this month in Punjab, according to a press release.
The project features a strong ensemble cast including Abhishek Banerjee, Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Yamini Dass, Sukhwinder Chahal, and veteran actor Nirmal Rishi. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Pammi Baweja, Harman Baweja, and Jaya Taurani, the film is a joint presentation of Baweja Studios and Tips Films.
