SRH vs PBKS: Will rain play spoilsport in the second innings?

The weather forecast only indicate a 30% to 40% chance of rain. Punjab Kings will be particularly wary of the forecast, as they have already suffered one washout this season. If the thundershowers manifest as predicted by the IMD, fans could see a truncated game where the DLS method comes into play. According to the AccuWeather the chance for rain during second innings remain zero. Therefore, fans can expect an uninterrupted match.

Punjab Kings currently occupy the top spot on the points table with 13 points from 9 matchesboasting a healthy net run rate of +0.855. However, Shreyas Iyer’s men arrive in Hyderabad under pressure after stumbling to back-to-back defeats against the Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad sit in third place with 12 points from 10 gamestrailing second-placed RCB only on net run rate.
