Bhopal/Burhanpur. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while interacting with industrialists at Parmanand Govindjiwala Auditorium in Burhanpur on May 6, said that the state government stands with the businessmen in every situation. He assured that every problem of the traders will be solved. Also informed about efforts to make cotton duty free and announcement of new route for industrialists.
Entrepreneurship will strengthen the economy of the country and the state
The Chief Minister said that India has made a significant contribution to the economic condition of the world on the basis of its entrepreneurship. He told that in ancient times India had about 33% contribution in global trade, which declined later. The country became economically strong through trade in spices, silk and metals. He said that now again the country is becoming stronger through entrepreneurship.
Industrialists will fly high again like the Phoenix bird
Comparing industrialists to the Phoenix bird, Dr. Yadav said that just as the Phoenix takes birth from the ashes and flies again, similarly our industrialists also move forward stronger after challenges. He believes that industrialists will fly even higher in the times to come.
India took a big leap in the economic sector after 2014
The Chief Minister said that after 2014, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has achieved new heights in the economic sector. Steps like Jan-Dhan Yojana strengthened the economic system and directly benefited the people. He said that the government is continuously working for public welfare and in this direction, 2025 has been declared as the Industry Year and 2026 as the Farmer Welfare Year.
Traders Welfare Board and Initiatives to Promote Investment
The Chief Minister said that the state government has approved the formation of Traders Welfare Board, which will work up to the district level. Apart from this, there is a plan to organize Nimar Investors Summit. He said that many unnecessary laws have been abolished and efforts are on to improve the power system.
Burhanpur becomes a new gate of development
Dr. Yadav said that Burhanpur may be a small district, but the people here are big thinkers. He described it as the gateway to the south and the center of development. A favorable environment is being created for industries here and the government will provide all possible support.
Farmer Welfare Year: Special emphasis on increasing income
Talking to the media after interacting with industrialists, the Chief Minister said that the aim of the government is to increase the income of farmers. Efforts are being made to take the state and the country forward by promoting industry, trade and employment.
Statement given regarding West Bengal also
Commenting on the politics of West Bengal, the Chief Minister said that if BJP gets more than 200 MLAs, the government can be seen formed on May 9.
