Barry Christian’s ex-wife Farrah has spoken publicly for the first time as questions continue to surround the death of the Republican state Senate candidate. In an emotional outburst, she reflected on their past relationship stating, "You were the best ride of my life", offering a personal perspective amid the ongoing investigation. Authorities have released limited details so far, leaving many aspects of the case unclear and fueling public speculation. As investigators work to determine the circumstances behind his death, interest remains high, with many awaiting further updates and official findings. Barry was running as a Republican for Oklahoma Senate District 38, which covers much of southwestern Oklahoma.

Barry, 54, was reported missing after he failed to attend a scheduled meeting. He was last seen on Tuesday driving a charcoal gray Ram pickup, and a missing persons report was filed the following day. Authorities later located a vehicle matching that description off Highway 30. He was discovered dead in his truck at the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area, located south of Erick, Oklahoma, on Thursday.

Farrah shared an emotional tribute to Barry on the social media platform Facebook.

"Barry Christian...you were the best ride of my life," she wrote in her post.

"We had lots of ups and downs, twists and turns, and even though we didn’t end up together, we always stayed close, and we have the most beautiful children and grandchildren who you loved so deeply," she said.

"You taught me how to cook, you taught me how to love. I just don’t know how we are supposed to live without you. My heart aches more than I can bear right now."

According to Farrah, Barry was widely known throughout western Oklahoma.

"I don’t know if there’s anyone in western Oklahoma that didn’t know who he was," she said as quoted by The Sun.

"I mean, he never met a stranger. He was always friendly to everyone he came into contact with and just always had a big smile on his face.

"He just wanted to make Oklahoma the best it could be."
