Perin Malde Exclusive: Perin Malde has been quietly working his way forward in the industry, putting in consistent effort to create his own space.

The actor, who was recently seen alongside Akshay Kumar in Bhooth Bangla, has been exploring different opportunities while staying focused on growth. With each project, he seems clearer about where he wants to go next. When asked about the filmmakers he hopes to work with, Perin didn't limit himself to just one or two names. For him, the journey has only just begun, and there's still a lot he wants to experience. He shared, "Speaking of directors, I honestly feel I haven't even scratched the surface of my acting career. So at this point, I want to work with absolutely everybody." Talking about specific names, he mentioned filmmakers whose work he has admired over the years. "Somebody like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, I want to work on one of his grand projects. Also, Sandeep Reddy Vanga for how unique and true his style of filmmaking is. Rohit Shetty, Zoya Akhtar, Vasan Bala - Any director you name. I want to work with all of them," he said. Perin also spoke about wanting to be part of a Dharma Productions film someday. "I also want to work with Karan Johar. I would want to be in a Dharma film. All these movies that I have grown up watching... I've always seen actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh. I've followed their journey and always dreamed of becoming one of them," he added. However, one name that clearly holds a special place for him is Shoojit Sircar. Perin spoke about his early connection with the filmmaker, going back to his childhood days. "One director I absolutely want to work with and reconnect with is Shoojit Sarkar. As a kid, I did a couple of projects with him. I think I was his go-to child actor for TV commercials," he recalled. He shared memories of travelling for shoots and working on large-scale ad campaigns during that time. "We've travelled together for days. Those ads used to be quite big, with multiple scenes and different locations. Looking back now, I realise how different his approach was even back then," he said. Perin also mentioned working with Shoojit Sircar on the film Shoebite, which featured Amitabh Bachchan, but never saw a release. "I have a lot of vague memories from that time. The film couldn't release due to legal issues, but it was still a part of my journey," he shared. What stands out for him the most about Shoojit Sircar's work is its simplicity. "There's so much honesty in his stories. It doesn't need big setups or VFX. It's just pure storytelling. I would love to be part of that kind of cinema," Perin said.
