Priyanka Chopra shares Russo Brothers' appeal to fans ahead of 'Citadel' season 2 premiere: 'Please don't spoil it for someone else'

Priyanka Chopra kicked off the countdown to the release of the highly anticipated spy series 'Citadel' Season 2, which begins streaming today.
Ahead of the global premiere, the actress took to her handle to share a post by the series director-duo - the Russo Brothers .
In the post shared by filmmakers Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, they urged fans to avoid sharing spoilers as they announced that all seven episodes of Season 2 would be available for streaming today, May 6.
Russo Brothers' message to Citadel fans
The Russo Brothers took to their social media handles to share a note that read, “Citadel fans, Citadel Season 2 drops at midnight PST tonight. Every episode. All at once. If you don't like having big surprises spoiled. Binge it. Or stay off social media for a few days. Because someone will spoil it for you. And if you watch tonight, please don't spoil it for someone else. Thanks. Let's all have each other's backs. Enjoy!”
Fans ask Russo Brothers for Avengers: Doomsday trailer
However, while fans of the series are excited for the new season, the Russo Brothers saw their comments section getting flooded with questions about their other project- 'Avengers: Doomsday'. Marvel fans, avaiting the next chapter in the cinematic universe, took to the comments section to ask the director-duo "Where is Doomsday Trailer ???"
Others demanded, "Drop the Doomsday trailer!"
"How about drop the Doomsday trailer brothers. Cmon!!!! Lol @therussobrothers you're playing with our emotions lol," said another.
"Man stop gate keeping and give us the doomsday trailer," wrote a fan while another said, "We don't care about this give us the doomsday trailer."
"EVERY comment being about doomsday," another quipped.
Citadel to end after Season 2?
Season 2 of 'Citadel' is rumoured to end the spy franchise that featured an Indian prequel 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' and an Italian follow-up 'Citadel: Diana'. As per reports, the makers have pulled the plug on the franchise that set out to be a global franchise.
Russo Brothers working on 'Doomsday' and 'Secret Wars'
The Russo Brothers, on the other hand, have fans waiting for their return to the MCU with 'Avengers: Doomsday'. The film is slated to release in cinemas on December 18. The film will clash with 'Dune: Part Three'. While the first trailer of the film was screened at CinemaCon, the directors have not yet released the clip online. Rumours are rife that fans will get their first look at the trailer later this year during ComicCon 2026 .
The directors are also working on ' Avengers: Secret Wars ' that is slated for a December 2027 release.
