**Exam Date and Shift Timings**
The BPSSC Havildar Recruitment Examination is scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, May 25, 2026, at designated examination centers across the state. Based on category-wise distribution, the vacancies are reserved as follows: 26 for the General category, 06 for EWS, 11 for EBC, 08 for BC, 02 for BC (Female), 10 for SC, and 01 for ST. **Selection Process**
Candidates who successfully clear the written examination will be required to participate in a physical test to qualify for selection. In the Physical Efficiency Test, male candidates must complete a 1.6 km run within 6 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 1 km run within 5 minutes. For the High Jump event, male candidates are required to clear a height of 4 feet, and female candidates must clear 3 feet. Additionally, male candidates will have to throw a 16-pound shot put a distance of 16 feet, while female candidates will have to throw a 12-pound shot put a distance of 10 feet.
