UPPSC Lecturer Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the date for the Lecturer (Male/Female) Government Intermediate College (GIC) Examination-2025. According to an official notification issued by the Commission, this examination was originally scheduled to be held on June 7, 2026; however, it has now been postponed, and a new date has been announced.

As per the notification, the written examination for the Direct Recruitment-2025 for Reserved Civil Police and equivalent posts within the Uttar Pradesh Police has been scheduled for June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. In view of the clash with the dates of these examinations, the Commission has decided to reschedule the Lecturer Examination to a later date, thereby ensuring that candidates do not face any inconvenience.

GIC Lecturer Recruitment Exam Now on June 14
The examination will now be conducted on June 14, 2026 (Sunday), instead of June 7. The Commission has clarified that this change has been implemented in the best interest of the candidates, enabling them to appear for both examinations without any undue pressure.

This information was issued from the Commission's office in Prayagraj on May 5, 2026. The notice, signed by the Examination Controller, appeals to candidates to continue their preparations in accordance with the new examination date.

Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the Commission's official website to ensure they receive other important updates regarding the examination promptly. Following this change, all candidates will now need to adjust their examination strategies and preparation schedules to align with the new date. This decision by the Commission is regarded as a significant step towards minimizing scheduling conflicts between competitive examinations and ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination process.
