Jisoo has found herself at the centre of a shocking controversy after an independent fashion designer publicly accused her team of failing to return borrowed outfits. The allegation, which surfaced just as the K-pop star made a high-profile appearance at the Met Gala 2026, is as surprising as it is sudden. Te designer’s detailed claims will definitely raise questions about how celebrity styling teams handle borrowed pieces. Adding to the severity of the matter, some other international designers have shared instances when they had a similar experience with the  idol's team.

Designer exposes Jisoo's team

The accusations come from Antwerp-based designer Benjamin Voortmans, who owns the label Judassime. In a video shared on Instagram, Voortmans claimed that several pieces from their collection were sent to  ’s team in Korea around six months ago for a potential album cover shoot. According to the designer, the shoot kept getting postponed, and the items were never returned.

“Jisoo from BLACKPINK basically stole my stuff!” Voortmans said in the video, expressing frustration over the lack of communication. They further explained that designers typically lend outfits for a limited period, often between a week and a month. However, in this case, despite repeated follow-ups, there has been no response from Jisoo’s team. Voortmans revealed that three pieces from their latest collection are still missing and described them as both valuable and crucial to their work. The designer also claimed to have taken legal steps, including sending invoices and contracts, but alleged that these efforts were ignored.
“If someone from that team could wake up and just send my stuff back… I don’t even want to shoot it anymore,” Voortmans added. The video concluded with a direct appeal to the public, urging followers to tag Jisoo and share the message widely to get attention from her team. Since then, the issue has gained traction online, with some other creators also hinting at similar experiences. Jacque Label commented on the video and said, "They have few of my items too, they keep on saying shoot was getting pushed back."
