During a public event, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath playfully teased MP Ravi Kishan regarding the honorary title he received. This took place at the Baba Gorakhnath Auditorium in Ramgarh Tal during a ceremony honoring education friends. The Chief Minister remarked that Kishan seemed to be expecting congratulations from him. When asked what the congratulations were for, Kishan revealed that he had been awarded a PhD.
CM Yogi clarified that this was an honorary degree, jokingly stating that such a degree would not guarantee employment and should merely be regarded as a mark of respect.
He further mentioned that while Kishan expressed a desire to use the title of professor or doctor, he explained that such titles cannot be used based on honorary degrees. In a humorous tone, he added that if someone started practicing medicine with such a title, it could lead to complications.
In conclusion, the Chief Minister congratulated Ravi Kishan on this recognition. It is noteworthy that the MP was awarded the honorary doctorate by LNCT University on May 4.
