UP Lekhpal Main Examination Date: The UP Lekhpal Main Exam is set for May 21, 2026. Candidates who have been selected to take this exam will receive their admit cards shortly before the date. However, it is crucial for those shortlisted to ensure they complete an essential step: the payment of the Main Examination Fee. The UPSSSC has issued a significant notice regarding this requirement, emphasizing that paying this fee is mandatory to be eligible for the exam.


Exam Fee Details for UP Lekhpal Main Examination

Fee Payment Requirement:
As per the recent announcement, candidates can only download their admit cards after they have paid the required fee. A separate notification will be available on the UPSSSC official website regarding this process. Candidates who are shortlisted must ensure they pay the Main Examination Fee to gain access to their admit cards. Failure to do so will prevent them from downloading the admit card or receiving it.


Lekhpal Main Exam Fee Structure

Fee Amount:
A total of 366,712 candidates have been selected for the Lekhpal Main Examination. The fee structure is as follows:
- Unreserved/Other Backward Classes (OBC): ₹200
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST): ₹80
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): No fee required.
It is important to pay the fee according to the category selected during the application process.


Steps to Pay the Lekhpal Main Examination Fee

Payment Procedure:
To pay the fee, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Visit the official website: upsssc.gov.in.
2. Go to the "Applicant Segment-215" section on the homepage.
3. Click on "Main Examination Fee Deposition."
4. Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Domicile, and Category, then input the Verification Code and click "Click Here to Proceed."
5. Pay the fee based on your category.


Troubleshooting Fee Payment Issues

If the payment does not show up after the transaction, do not pay again. Instead, go to the fee payment page and select "Update your Fee's Payment Details by double Verification Mode" (found in the yellow box). Enter your Registration Number and Gender to update your payment status.
Once the payment is confirmed, candidates will receive notifications about their Admit Cards, typically issued 3 to 4 days prior to the exam.
