His divorce case with his wife Jyoti Singh is going on in the court, the hearing of which is scheduled to be held today on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) in Arrah Civil Court. Pawan Singh and Jyoti Singh are likely to attend this hearing.
Pawan Singh wants one time settlement
Under the process of reconciliation, the court is once again trying to give Pawan Singh and Jyoti Singh an opportunity to forget their differences and live together. However, Pawan Singh wants a divorce with Jyoti Singh.
In fact, during the last hearing held on March 25, Pawan Singh had told Justice Ashutosh Kumar that I do not want to live with Jyoti Singh. We want a divorce. Pawan Singh had also agreed for one time settlement. Jyoti Singh did not reach the court for the hearing that day.
Demand for giving Rs 10 crore more house
Whereas before this, Jyoti Singh had reached the court during the hearing held on 11 February. That day, Pawan Singh did not reach the court for the hearing citing ill health. He was produced from the hospital bed through video conferencing.
During the hearing held on February 11, Jyoti Singh’s lawyer Vishnudhar Pandey had said that, if Pawan Singh does not want to live with Jyoti Singh, then give him Rs 10 crore and a house and give him expenses till the case goes on.
First wife had committed suicide
Let us tell you that Pawan Singh’s first wife was Neelam Singh. Neelam and Pawan got married in the year 2014, but after a few months of marriage, Neelam committed suicide. After that, in the year 2018, Pawan married Jyoti Singh for the second time. This marriage also did not last long and after some time there was discord in their marriage and as the dispute between the two increased, Jyoti Singh took the stand of the court.
