Speaking to ANI on this occasion, Vijay's father, S.A. Chandrasekhar, remarked, "He will undoubtedly bring about a significant change in Tamil Nadu." As his mother, Shobha Chandrasekhar, also expressed her joy, his father added, "She is not merely Vijay's mother; she is also his very first fan."
