The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Teaching Associates. According to the official RSSB notification, recruitment will be conducted for a total of 3,540 Teaching Associate positions. The online application process for these posts is set to commence this month, on May 5th. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for these positions until June 3rd.
**Salary Details**
Candidates selected for the positions of Teaching Associates will receive a monthly remuneration of ₹28,850.
**Eligibility Criteria**
To apply for the Teaching Associate positions, candidates must have completed their postgraduate studies from a recognized institution in India with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Additionally, candidates must have qualified in the SLET/SET or NET examination. Candidates are also required to possess working knowledge of Hindi (written in the Devanagari script) and an understanding of the culture of Rajasthan.
**Age Limit**
To apply for the Teaching Associate positions, candidates must have attained the age of 21 years, and their maximum age must not exceed 40 years. However, age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
**Examination Pattern**
To select candidates for the Teaching Associate positions, the examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode. In this examination, candidates will face questions worth 75 marks covering 'General Studies of Rajasthan' and questions worth 300 marks about their 'Subject-Specific' discipline. The General Studies examination will be conducted for a duration of one hour, while the second examination (Subject-Specific) will be held for a duration of two hours.
**Application Fee**
Payment of an application fee is mandatory for applying to the Teaching Associate positions. Candidates belonging to the General Category are required to pay an application fee of ₹600, whereas candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories and Persons with Disabilities (Divyang) are required to pay an application fee of ₹400.
