Osmo Pocket 4 Launch : DJI has introduced its new compact gimbal camera, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, designed specifically for handheld shooting and still video recording. According to the company, this camera features improved video capture, tracking and control systems, which give users a smoother and easier shooting experience.

It has a 1-inch CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It supports 4K video recording up to 240 fps. It also has a dynamic range of 14 stops and a 10-bit D-Log color profile, which is said to deliver better detail in low-light and high-contrast scenes. The camera supports 1x and 24 lossless zoom, which can be extended up to 4x.

Support for high-speed data transfer

It has 107 GB of built-in storage and supports high-speed data transfer of up to 800 MB/s, eliminating the need for a separate memory card. It has a Sri-Axis gimbal system, which minimizes movement during shooting. Features like Active Track 7.0, Spotlight Follow and Dynamic Framing help track subjects. For focusing, it features intelligent auto focus and subject lock tracking, which ensures clear focus, users can change subjects with a single tap and also take advantage of register subject priority.

5D joystick available

It has a mix of physical buttons, touch screen and Jeshwar controls. Users can start recording by rotating the screen. It also has a dedicated zoom button and custom preset buttons. The camera has a 5D joystick for movement, re-centering and flip control.

Jeshwar controls include turning on tracking with a palm gesture and stopping recording with the ‘V’ icon. Features like quick shots, slow shutter video and film tone presets are also available.

It also features in-camera beautify adjustments and an attachable fill light, allowing brightness and color temperature to be adjusted. It supports up to 240 minutes of recording at 1080p/24fps.

It can charge from 0 to 80% in just 18 minutes. For audio, it has a built-in microphone array that captures voice and ambient sound. In addition, Hi can also connect to DJI Mic 2, DJI Mic 3 and DJI Mic Mini.
