Rohit Sharma gave Mumbai Indians a strong push in the chase with a powerful over against Avesh Khan. Rohit hit four big shots in a row during the sixth over which brought an instant change to the match.

 

The first boundary came with a strong drive through extra cover. Rohit hit the full delivery outside off stump with power to send it down the field. The next ball also went for four as he moved down the pitch and guided it over the infield.

The Mumbai Indians required an aggressive beginning to chase their challenging total and Rohit delivered his performance at the exact moment needed. He and Ryan Rickelton maintained the scoreboard progress while they disrupted the bowlers.

 

Rohit mixed smart shots with power hitting. He picked the right balls to attack and made sure the run rate stayed high. His quick scoring helped Mumbai stay on track in the chase.
