Gorakhpur. After increasing the honorarium of Shikshamitras by 80 percent, CM Yogi Adityanath has now taken a big step to honor them. In view of his contribution in strengthening basic education, a state level grand function will be organized on Tuesday at Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium in Gorakhpur. In this program, the Chief Minister will also hand over a symbolic check of increased honorarium to Shikshamitras.
Shikshamitra Salary Hike UP: Honorarium increased from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 18 thousand
About 1.43 lakh Shikshamitras working in Basic Education Council schools in the state earlier used to get an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per month. Appreciating his services, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has increased it to Rs 18,000 per month. The new honorarium has come into effect from the month of April. Giving this increase as an honor will begin with this ceremony organized in Gorakhpur.
Education Department Event: Preparation for a grand program in Gorakhpur
The Basic Education Department has made extensive preparations to make the felicitation ceremony of Shikshamitras grand. Sandeep Singh will also be present in this program to be held from 11 am on Tuesday. During this, the Chief Minister will give symbolic checks of honorarium of Rs 18,000 to 10 Shikshamitras.
Arunodaya Calendar Launch: 'Arunodaya' calendar will be released
In this program, the Chief Minister will inspect the stalls related to the achievements of the Education Department. He will also release the 'Arunodaya' calendar based on the activities of the student-led prayer meeting. Along with this state level event, similar programs will also be organized in all the districts.
Shikshamitra Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm and morale increased among Shikshamitra
According to Basic Education Officer of Gorakhpur, Dhirendra Tripathi, there is a lot of enthusiasm among Shiksha Mitras regarding this felicitation ceremony. A large number of Shikshamitras will participate in the program and listen to the address of the Chief Minister.
He said that with the increase in honorarium, the financial condition of Shikshamitras will improve and their identity will also be strengthened. This initiative of the government will boost their morale and its positive impact will also be seen on the quality of education.
