Dubai’s big airline Emirates has brought its flights back on track. The company has restored 96% of its global network, which will now make traveling to different countries of the world easier. This news is a big relief for those expatriates and passengers who were troubled by problems in flights for some time.

Emirates now serves 137 cities in 72 countries. The company is flying more than 1,300 flights every week, which is 75% of its pre-crisis capacity. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority had announced to start normal operations in the airspace on 2 May 2026. Earlier on February 28, restrictions were imposed in the airspace due to missile and drone attacks, due to which there was considerable disruption in flights.

Some important facilities have been provided for migrants and frequent travelers coming to and from India. One-time change of date facility will be available free of cost on tickets booked after April 2, 2026. Additionally, passengers can hold the fare for 24 hours for free. What changes will happen to the Skywards member and travel experience?
From May 1 to August 31, 2026, Skywards members will face reduced requirements to qualify for the premium tier and will also receive bonus tier miles. To further improve the journey, Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi facility has been introduced in 28 aircraft. Emirates President Tim Clark said that the company is working on adding modern amenities like bathrooms to the first class suites.
