Kolkata: With trends showing that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to win West Bengal Election 2026, Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee accused the Election Commission of colluding with the Centre and deliberately delaying the poll results in several constituencies.
Releasing a video message on her X account, Banerjee hit out at the BJP for conducting SIR to loot vote. The TMC chief accused the poll panel of deliberately nor declaring the trends for at least 100 Assembly constituencies. She claimed that Trinamool was leading in the particular constituencies.
The TMC supremo appealed to her party workers to not lose hope as the the counting process in underway and there is a long way to go. “At present only, 2-3 rounds have been completed, at least 14-18 rounds of counting are done and then election results are declared. Don’t lose hope, stay strong, we will win,” Banerjee told her supporters.

According to the Election Commission, BJP was racing ahead in 181 Assembly seats, while TMC was leading in 91 segments.
