Especially after the age of 30, the strength of bones gradually starts decreasing, due to which the risk of many serious diseases increases. If these diseases are not recognized in time, they can become a big problem in the future.
1. Osteoporosis
It is the most common bone disease in women. In this, the bones become weak and brittle, due to which the risk of fracture increases even in minor injuries. Its risk is higher after menopause.
2. Osteoarthritis
This is a disease to joints, in which there is pain and stiffness in knees, hips and hands. This problem is seen more in women with increasing age.
3. Rheumatoid Arthritis
It is an autoimmune disease, in which the body’s immune system attacks its own joints. This causes swelling, pain and difficulty in walking.
4. Osteomalacia
Due to deficiency of Vitamin D, bones become soft and weak. Due to this, pain and weakness is felt in the body.
5. Slip Disc
In this problem to the spine, the disc slips from its place, causing severe back pain and pressure on the nerves. This problem can be aggravated by sitting wrongly for a long time or lifting heavy weight.
Why is the danger increasing?
According to experts, deficiency of calcium and vitamin D, lack of physical activity, spending less time in sunlight and hormonal changes weaken bones. Apart from this, irregular eating habits and stress also increase this problem.
How to protect?
A balanced diet is very important to keep bones strong. Milk, curd, cheese, green vegetables and dry fruits are good sources of calcium. It is also important to take sunlight daily, do regular exercise and get health checkup done from time to time.
