Riteish Deshmukh-Salman Khan’s ‘Raja Shivaji’ a blast, huge collection at the box office in 2 days

Tezzbuzz Desk – Riteish Deshmukh’s much awaited film ‘Raja Shivaji’ has become a topic of discussion as soon as it was released in theatres. This historical film based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is getting good response from the audience. In just two days of its release, the film has registered a strong start at the box office and now all eyes are on its weekend collection.

Riteish Deshmukh has won the hearts of the audience with his strong acting in the film. Both his look and performance in the historical character are being liked a lot. Along with this, Salman Khan’s cameo in the film has also increased the curiosity of the audience.

The story of ‘Raja Shivaji’ is based on the life and struggles of India’s great warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Earlier, Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhaava’, based on his son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, had created a stir at the box office by earning more than Rs 800 crore. Now it is expected that ‘Raja Shivaji’ can also do something similar.

According to box office reports, the film opened with Rs 11.35 crore on the first day. On the second day i.e. on Saturday, it collected Rs 10.55 crore. In this way, the net collection of the film in India has reached Rs 21.90 crore in two days.

If we talk about gross collection, the film has earned Rs 26.06 crore so far. However, the film has not yet received a strong response abroad and clear overseas collection figures have not been revealed.

The budget of the film is said to be around Rs 100 crore. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see how fast this film is able to cross its budget on the basis of Hindi and Marathi audience.

The film is also getting a big benefit from Salman Khan’s cameo. Fans are liking her style in the character of Jeeva Mahala. On social media, the audience is praising his small but impactful role.
