Prince William and Princess Catherine marked their 15th wedding anniversary this week with a sweet new family photograph. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the adorable snap, taken on their recent family holiday in Cornwall earlier this month, on social media.

The striking image showed the beaming couple lying on the grass with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as the two family dogs. The family were all smiles as they lay barefoot, wearing casual spring clothing. The image, taken by Matt Porteous, was uploaded with the caption: "Celebrating 15 years of marriage."

Speaking about the family photograph, brand and culture expert Nick Ede exclusively told the Daily Express it was better than anything Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ever posted.

He highlighted three reasons for this.

"As royal images go, it beats anything that Meghan and Harry have posted because it's natural, fun and honest, which royal fans love," he said.

"The new photo from William and Catherine is a glorious image of the family together, relaxed, enjoying the sunshine and looking polished, but not too perfect."

He continued: "What is great to see is the genuine joy that's emanating from all of the five of the family - and the dogs too!"

Over the years, Prince William and Princess Catherine have shared a number of cute family photographs with the public - many taken during UK holidays.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who quit royal life in 2020, have also used social media over recent years to share family pictures, but tend to keep their children's faces hidden.
