New Delhi: India’s famous comedian Kapil Sharma has once again come into the limelight. An incident of firing has come to light in a restaurant near his ‘Caps Cafe’ located in Surrey, Canada, which has created a stir in the area.

According to the claims going viral on social media, Lawrence Bishnoi gang is being said to be behind this attack. It has also been claimed in some posts that Kapil Sharma has been directly threatened with death, although these claims have not been officially confirmed yet.

Firing took place at the restaurant near the cafe

A post from a Facebook account named ‘Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu’ is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The post claims that shots were fired at Chai Sutta Bar in Surrey, which is very close to Kap’s Cafe.

The post warns Kapil Sharma and the cafe owner not to “waste time” and agree to his terms. It was also pointed out that if this was not done, the cafe and his house in Mumbai could also be targeted.

The series of attacks continues from 2025

This is not the first time that Kapil Sharma’s cafe has been targeted. Such incidents will continue from the year 2025.

• 10 July 2025: Firing for the first time, a few days after the inauguration of the café.
• 7 August 2025: Second attack within a month
• 15-16 October 2025: Firing at cafe for the third time

After the third attack, people associated with Bishnoi network took responsibility for it on social media.

Was association with Salman Khan the reason?

According to the claims to the gang, the reason behind targeting Kapil Sharma is being said to be his relationship with Salman Khan.

It is said that this resentment increased after Salman Khan was invited to the launch of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. A member associated with the gang had earlier also warned that whoever works with Salman Khan will have to face consequences.

The dispute between Lawrence Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan is to the 1998 black buck hunting case. Bishnoi community considers black deer sacred, due to which this dispute has been going on for a long time.

During the trailer launch of his film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’, Kapil Sharma had expressed concern over these incidents. He had said that he feels that Canadian laws and police are not fully capable of controlling such incidents.
