Trains Delayed on Chandil–Tata Rail Section : Jharkhand’s ruling party JMM has expressed displeasure over the alleged delay of trains in Chandil-Tata railway section. The party alleges that passengers are being herded on the Chandil-Tata section continuously for the last two years. Every day, dozens of passenger trains are delayed by hours – and goods trains run on the same tracks without stopping. At the same time, CM Hemant Soren has requested Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav to take cognizance of this matter. He has appealed that priority should be given to passenger trains in Chandil-Tata section.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren wrote in the The time of the people of India is as valuable as the transportation of goods to the country’s economy.

CM Soren further wrote, “I urge Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw (@AshwiniVaishnaw) to: – Priority should be given to passenger trains in Chandil-Tata section. – Pending railway infrastructure projects should be completed in a time bound manner. – Immediate solution to the problem of train delay should be ensured. No compromise can be accepted with the convenience and dignity of all the railway passengers of the country and the citizens of Jharkhand.”
