MP Board 2026: Class 10th-12th second examination from May 7, admit card released, download like this, know all the details

The ‘second examination’ or supplementary examination of class 10th and 12th of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is going to start from May 7, 2026. The Board has uploaded the admit cards on MPONLINE portal www.mpbse.mponline.gov.in. Candidates can download and get their admit card from the website.

Students who have been absent, failed or unsuccessful in the main examinations or who are not satisfied with their marks or want to improve their marks can now apply online till 4th May 2026. Giving relief to the students, the Board has once again extended the last date of application. Earlier it was 26 April 2026. Keep in mind that students who fail in practical or internal assessment will appear for only that part of the exam. Change of subject is not allowed in this examination. Applications can be made only through MP online portal.

To pass class 10th in MP Board, it is mandatory for students to get minimum 33 percent marks in each subject. If the marks in one or two subjects are less than the minimum pass percentage, the student will be considered failed.

Second examination of class 10th-12th will be held between 7th to 25th May

The second board examinations of class 10th will be conducted from 7th to 19th May and the examinations of class 12th will be conducted from 7th to 25th May. The exam time will be from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon. It will be mandatory for students to report to the examination center by 08:30 am. This examination is being conducted under the National Education Policy-2020. The practical examinations of the candidates will be conducted between 7th to 25th May at the allotted centres. In practical subjects, the examination will have to be given only for that part in which the student has failed. But no student will be allowed to change the subject.

It is noteworthy that the results of class 10th-12th were released on 15 April 2026. The overall result of class 10th this year was 73.42 percent, which is 2.80 percent less than the 76.22 percent of 2025. Out of 7,87,595 regular candidates, 5,78,328 students were successful in class 10th. Whereas 2,89,693 failed. At the same time, this year the result in class 12th was 76.01 percent, which is 1.53 percent more than 74.48 percent last year. Out of 6,13,318 regular candidates in class 12th, 4,66,406 students were successful and 1,99,608 failed.
