CM Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to follow safety standards in excavation work under Jal Jeevan Mission and to fill the roads immediately. Contractors have been warned of fine and blacklisting for negligence.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions to all the District Magistrates that safety standards should be completely followed in the excavation work being done under the Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that as soon as the work is completed, the dug roads and potholes should be filled immediately so that the general public does not face any kind of problem.

DM and senior officers will conduct on-site inspection. Strict action on negligence

As per the instructions of the CM, District Magistrates, officers associated with Jal Jeevan Mission and other departmental officers will visit the spot and inspect in all the districts of the state. They will ensure that wherever digging has taken place, the roads and potholes are filled in time. Any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.

Action against contractors Fine and blacklisting instructions

The Chief Minister has clearly said that if any executing agency or contractor leaves the work incomplete, does not complete it on time or is negligent, then a fine should be imposed on it. Along with this, action should also be taken to blacklist such contractors.

Redressal of complaints on Jal Samadhan Portal. Focus on leakage and digging

CM Yogi has instructed the officials that the complaints received on the Jal Samadhan portal should be resolved on priority basis. In this, it will be necessary to solve the problems related to water supply, pipeline leakage and excavation as soon as possible.

The government has issued a toll free number 18001212164 for complaints related to water supply or repair under Jal Jeevan Mission. Common people can register their complaints by calling this number and get solutions.

More than 2.50 crore families got tap connections. Target accomplished in Bundelkhand-Vindhya

Under Jal Jeevan Mission in Uttar Pradesh, tap water connections have been provided to more than 2.50 crore rural families. Almost 100% target has been achieved in Vindhya and Bundelkhand regions. Yogi government is continuously working fast to provide clean water to every house of the state.
