Electric Car: The facelift model of Tata Motors’ popular electric hatchback Tata Tiago EV has once again been spotted testing on Indian roads. This new prototype has already been spotted on several occasions, which makes it clear that the company may launch its updated version soon. Tiago EV is currently among the most affordable electric cars in the country, hence there is a lot of curiosity among customers about its facelift model.
What will be new in the design?
This car was completely covered during spotting, but according to reports, slight changes can be seen in its exterior. It is expected that it will be provided with new LED DRLs and updated taillights at the rear. Additionally, front and rear bumpers can also be introduced with a new design. Apart from this, the car is likely to get newly designed alloy wheels, which was awaited for a long time.
Possible changes in features
Talking about the interior, there is little hope of major changes in the cabin, but to make it more premium, a new dual-tone theme can be given. Along with this, there is a possibility of getting a completely digital driver display in it. Like the current model, features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls and cooled glovebox may continue.
Battery and range
Mechanically, no major changes are expected in this facelift model. This car may come with two battery options like the current model. The first is a 19.2kWh battery pack, which gives a range of about 250 km (MIDC). The second is a 24kWh battery pack, which is capable of giving a range of about 315 km (MIDC) on full charge. Overall, the facelift model can be made more attractive than before with mild design updates and feature upgrades.
