Highest 50 plus score against RR in IPL
- AB de Villiers – 8 (20 innings)
- KL Rahul – 8 (18 innings)
- Shikhar Dhawan – (24 innings)
- Virat Kohli – 7 (33 innings)
Rahul changed gear after powerplay
In the 43rd match of IPL 2026 being played in Jaipur, RR, batting first, scored 225 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. In response to this, Delhi Capitals (DC) needed an aggressive start. Pathum Nissanka took up the responsibility of this and scored a fifty in 23 balls in the powerplay. Rahul did not get that much strike, due to which he could score only 19 runs in 13 balls.
After the field opened, Rahul changed gears and scored 20 runs in the 9th over against Ravi Bishnoi. He hit 2 sixes and 1 four in this over. Despite the dismissal of Nissanka (62), Rahul did not slow down and completed his half-century by taking two runs on the last ball of the 11th over. In the big run chase, Rahul is running the DC innings well in the middle overs. Till the time of writing the news, he is playing after scoring 71 runs in 38 balls. DC needs 53 runs in the last 5 overs. If DC completes this run chase then it will be their best chase in IPL.
