IPL 2026: Riyan Parag scored 90 runs, Rajasthan Royals scored 225 runs for 6 wickets against Delhi.

Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals, with the help of captain Ryan Parag’s half-century (90 runs, 50 balls, eight fours, five sixes) and finally Donovan Ferreira’s unbeaten 47 runs in 14 balls, set a competitive score of 225 runs for six wickets against Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 match here on Friday.

After winning the toss and deciding to bat, Rajasthan Royals lost the wickets of both their openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi early but Parag and Dhruv Jurel (42 runs) together laid the foundation of this big score by making a partnership of 102 runs in 59 balls for the third wicket.

After this, Ferreira, who was in excellent form, hit two fours and six sixes in 14 balls and took the team to a challenging score. Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc, playing the first match of the season for Delhi Capitals, took three wickets for 40 runs. Kyle Jamieson, Akshar Patel and T Natarajan got one wicket each.
