Manipal: Udayavani has extended the last date for registration to participate in the Udayavani Children’s Festival ‘Akshara Ambari’, scheduled to be held on May 16 and 17 at Hattiyangadi in Kundapur taluk. The new deadline for registration is May 5.
The festival will take place at Sri Siddhi Vinayaka Residential School in Hattiyangadi. The two-day event aims to provide children a platform to express their interests and talents, while also helping them develop skills through guidance and activities.
Students from Class 7 to PUC studying in government, aided and private schools and colleges across the state are eligible to participate. Schools can also register their students. Participation certificates will be provided to all students.
Creative competitions planned
The festival will feature competitions such as essay writing, story writing, poetry writing and extempore writing to encourage reading and creative expression among children. Attractive prizes will be awarded to winners. Registration is mandatory.
Parents can also participate
The organisers have stated that the event is open not only to children but also to parents, who can participate along with them.
