How many days will banks be closed in May?

On May 1, banks will be closed in various states, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, due to Buddha Purnima and May Day.
On May 9, banks in West Bengal will close for Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti.

May 16 marks a holiday for banks in Gangtok for State Day, while Agartala will observe a closure on May 26 for Kazi Nazrul Islam's birth anniversary.

On May 27, banks will be closed for Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) in several cities, including:

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun
Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima
Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla
