What to do in case of food poisoning?
Keep the body hydrated – Due to food poisoning, there is a deficiency of water in the body. Electrolytes become unbalanced. In such a situation, it is most important not to let the body get dehydrated. Take ORS, coconut water, or plain water frequently. Drink liquids in small amounts but frequently.

Eat light food- In such a situation, gut health is badly affected. It becomes difficult to digest anything. Therefore, eat light and easily digestible food. Eat khichdi, curd, rice and banana in food.

Avoid these things- If you are getting food poisoning then do not eat outside food even by mistake. Do not eat too much oily, spicy and packaged food at all. Do not eat milk and dairy in the beginning. Apart from this, stay away from juices, cold drinks, heavy and fried foods.

When to take medicine- If there is excessive vomiting or diarrhea, take medicine after consulting a doctor. Along with this, if you have high fever and diarrhea with blood, then consult a doctor. If an elderly, child or pregnant woman has food poisoning, then take it seriously. Consult a doctor without delay.
