Responding to the speech of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, leader of the UP Legislature, SP MLA Sangram Yadav said that when a special session of the House was called today, it was expected that the Chief Minister would speak on women’s empowerment but he gave a sermon here. The Chief Minister said the same things on the Governor’s address. The Chief Minister said the same things in the budget speech and today when the eyes of the entire country are on the proceedings of this House, the Chief Minister released the same old cassette here also.

BJP government looks at the profit and loss of its politics: Shivpal Singh Yadav
Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav said that the message must have come from above. A one day session has been called. The government has only one agenda to show women in their favor. This is the biggest lie in the world. These people see advantages and disadvantages in their politics. If the Women’s Reservation Bill was implemented in 2023, it should be implemented. They should pass this proposal here and we will support it. We have always worked to advance women. The government confuses women.
This reservation bill is against social justice: Ravidas Mehrotra
Samajwadi Party leader Ravidas Mehrotra said that a one-day session of the Assembly has been called today, in which women’s reservation is to be discussed. Samajwadi Party says that we want women to get reservation but Dalits, backward class women, minority women should also get reservation. We are in favor of social justice, this reservation bill is against social justice. Women should get their rights, justice, respect and employment. BJP is misleading the public.

Samajwadi Party always talks about equality, we will expose BJP
Samajwadi Party leader Sangram Singh Yadav said that the government has approved a 5-hour discussion. The united opposition had demanded extension of time, but our views are not being given full attention. They just want to create confusion in the country and the state by making money. They brought the Delimitation Bill in the guise of the Women’s Reservation Bill, that is why it could not be passed, and now they are saying that the Samajwadi Party is anti-women. Samajwadi Party always talks about equality. Our party always stands with the weak, backward, Dalits, tribals, Muslims and women. We will expose BJP.
SP accused of spreading lies, BJP’s thinking which pretends to worship women is actually anti-women.
It was said in the extreme condemnation resolution that we also strongly condemn the fact that BJP is spreading lies regarding women’s reservation that the opposition did not allow this bill to be passed. Whereas, this bill was passed by all the parties together and the bill which could not be passed was actually a delimitation bill. BJP has not made any clear provision on the question of political representation of backward and minority women in women’s reservation.

Before the special session of Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Women’s Reservation Bill, Samajwadi Party leader Zahid Baig opposed the Women’s Reservation Bill. He said that today he has called the assembly. They are calling for an assembly bill that has already been rejected by Parliament. There was no justification for calling the assembly for this. BJP people are misleading the public and women so that it is not implemented. Akhilesh Yadav demands that reservation should be given to backward classes also. BJP has done all this to create controversy in North and South.
The BJP’s thinking, which pretends to worship women, is actually anti-women. BJP does not want to allow that environment to be created where there is talk of equality between men and women. In our country, they have broken the healthy tradition of taking names of Gods along with men and women. We also strongly condemn the fact that BJP wants to make women a slogan, so that instead of giving them real rights, only a show of sympathy can be created.
SP passed extreme condemnation motion, said – there was a conspiracy for delimitation
SP MLAs who arrived to attend the special session protested by putting up pictures of PM Modi. He said that the Women’s Reservation Bill should be implemented. SP MLAs, who arrived to attend the special session of the House, demanded implementation of women’s reservation and reached the gallery of the House with placards.
Earlier, in the SP Legislature Party meeting on Wednesday, a highly condemning resolution was passed against the alleged conspiracy of delimitation in the name of women’s reservation. During this, SP President and former CM Akhilesh Yadav was also present. Leader of opposition in the Assembly, Mata Prasad Pandey declared the censure motion passed. It has been said in the extreme condemnation resolution that we strongly condemn the BJP at the Center and its allies who pretend to provide women’s reservation. Whose intention was to win the elections by delimiting the constituencies as per their wish under the pretext of this bill, and not to actually empower women by giving them their rights.
