Prince William and Princess Catherine released a new photograph yesterday marking their 15th wedding anniversary. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photograph of themselves lying on the grass with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The family were all smiling in the photograph taken by Matt Porteous as they laid barefoot on the grass in Cornwall, wearing relaxed, comfortable clothing. The family dog, Orla, was also in the sweet snap, alongside another dog believed to be one of her puppies.
The photograph, taken on the family's Easter holiday, was simply captioned: "Celebrating 15 years of marriage."
The image sparked a fan frenzy, with one brand and culture expert claiming that the photograph "beats anything" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have ever posted online of their family.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede exclusively told The Daily Express. "The new photo from Prince William and Princess Catherine is a glorious image of the family together relaxed, enjoying the sunshine and looking polished, but not too perfect.
"With Charlotte's varnished nails and Catherine's favourite Breton top, it shows a modern family enjoying time together. What's great to see is the genuine joy that's emanating from all of the five of the family and the dogs too!
"As royal images go it beats anything that Meghan and Harry have posted because it's natural, fun and honest, which royal fans love."
Prince William and Princess Catherine celebrated their wedding anniversary yesterday by visiting IntoUniversity.
The charity, which aims to help young people reach their full potential in education and beyond, benefitted from the Royal Wedding Gift Fund in 2011.
It continues to provide academic support for those who need it most today.
William and Catherine also reportedly enjoyed a lunch together at The Goring Hotel on Wednesday - the hotel where Catherine spent the night before marrying Prince William in 2011.
