The Indian star batter Virat Kohli made a unique record on April 30 while playing for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Kohli entered the elite list with 800 IPL runs in India, becoming the first in the world to do so.
Kohli achieved this record in his 232nd innings. Before the start of the game, he was 12 runs short of the feat. The feat came in the second over when he smashed a boundary off Kagiso Rabada.
The second over of KG Rabada has been eventful enough for Kohli. He smashed five consecutive boundaries at mid-on, mid-off, backward point, deep backward point, and extra cover, respectively.
