Lucknow. A major accident was averted on Thursday morning due to the wisdom of the pilot at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport located in Amausi, Lucknow, the capital of UP. The plane which was going to fly to Raipur with about 125 passengers had gained speed on the runway when suddenly a monkey appeared in front. The pilot applied emergency brakes and stopped the plane with difficulty. After this the plane was brought back to the runway and the investigation started. After about an hour the plane left for Raipur.

According to airport sources, DGCA has been informed about the Lucknow Airport Flight Incident and now it will investigate. IndiGo flight 6E 6521 from Lucknow to Raipur was leaving at 8:55 am on Thursday.

According to sources, the plane had gained a good speed on the runway. Meanwhile, the pilot saw that a monkey had come and sat in front. If he had not taken the emergency brake, the thrusting jets of the ship would have pulled him in and the engine could have caught fire. There could have been major damage if the plane collided with the wing. Now questions are also being raised that how did the monkey reach the airport runway?
