Upcoming Smartphones in May 2026: April was a busy month for the smartphone market. Several companies, including OnePlus, Vivo, and Realme, launched their models that month. Similarly, many new phones are poised to enter the market in May. Some of these will be flagship models, while others will also be mid-range models. Oppo Find X9 Ultra

This phone has been in the news for quite some time, and it will finally launch in May. A launch date hasn't been announced yet, but it's confirmed that it will launch in May. Its highlight is its quad-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 200MP primary sensor. The phone will launch with a 7,050mAh battery and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. 

Vivo X300 Ultra

Like Oppo, Vivo will also launch its flagship camera model, the Vivo X300 Ultra, in May. It will be launched on May 6th. Its camera setup will include a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and pack a 6,600mAh battery.

Vivo X300 FE

The Vivo X300 FE will also be launched alongside the X300 Ultra, replacing last year's X200 FE. It is expected to feature a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. This phone will also launch with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and a 50MP+50MP+8MP triple camera setup on the rear. Powered by a 6,500mAh battery, the phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for durability.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite

OnePlus is also finalizing its preparations for May. The company will launch the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite models on May 7th. The CE 6 will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Lite will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex processor. Both phones will feature a 50MP primary camera and large battery packs. Prices for this series are expected to start around ₹18,000.
